Example from Western Australia
We prepared a disruption claim for the noise and screen wall works, covering crane crew stand-down between June and September 2024.

Ahmed Elsayed, Managing Director. Ahmed handles Australian delay and dispute inquiries himself, in English or Arabic.
Australian contracts such as AS 4000 and AS 2124 set strict notice and claim requirements for extensions of time, and courts generally enforce time bars. Payment disputes can go to adjudication under each state’s security of payment legislation, while larger delay disputes go to expert determination, arbitration or court. Expert evidence must follow the relevant code of conduct, such as the Federal Court’s Expert Evidence Practice Note or Schedule 7 of the NSW Uniform Civil Procedure Rules.
Under AS 4000 the contractor must give a written claim for an extension of time within the period in clause 34, and many amended contracts shorten it. We check notices first: a strong analysis does not help if the claim is barred. Where the Superintendent has a discretion to extend time anyway, we set out the case for using it.
A free 30-minute call. We look at your contract (AS 4000, AS 2124, AS 4902 or a state form) and its notice clauses, the forum and timetable if there is a dispute, and the state of the programme records.
A short description and your next deadline are enough. If you like, name the contract form and the next deadline or time bar. You do not need to send contract documents before the call.
After the call we agree which documents we need. Once we have reviewed them, we confirm the scope and fee in writing before any work starts.
No meeting needed. Give us your work email and two sentences about the issue. Please do not attach contract documents at this stage.
Ahmed Elsayed replies within 1 working day (Monday to Friday, Sydney time). Your brief goes only to the Solvix sales inbox. If we go on to work together, we sign an NDA and then send you a private shared folder for the contract documents.
